Glitter Freckles Popularized by Taylor Swift Now Available for Dogs
The brand Fazit has launched pet-safe, temporary glitter patches for canines, following the viral success of its human-targeted products.
Fazit, the brand behind the glitter freckles popularized by Taylor Swift, has introduced a new line of products for pets. The company announced the launch of its nontoxic "Pet Patches," which are designed as temporary glitter tattoos for dogs.
The glitter freckles first gained widespread attention when Swift wore them to a 2024 Chiefs game, leading to a significant surge in sales for Fazit. The brand's human line of stick-on sparkles became a viral sensation, and now they are extending their product line to canine companions.
The Pet Patches are described as the "first makeup for fur" and can be applied in seconds. According to the brand, they are designed to last for up to a week, enduring activities such as walks and play. Removal is facilitated with conditioner and a comb. The product's safety has been independently verified by a veterinary professional, ensuring they are pet-safe and nontoxic.
Co-founder Nina LaBruna reportedly conceived the idea after observing people applying stickers and gems to their pets, seeking a simpler alternative. The initial human glitter freckles achieved $1 million in sales within 48 hours of Swift wearing them.
The new line for dogs is available in several styles, including silver, gold, and multicolored star patterns. Khloé Kardashian has already showcased the patches, sharing an Instagram Story featuring her dog, Peppermint, adorned with the sparkly embellishments on her ears.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Fazit Pet Patches will be donated to support the community funds of the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center. The brand's earlier success was amplified by other celebrity endorsements, including Kacey Musgraves, Rita Ora, and Lisa, who have also worn the glitter freckles.
