Glen Powell, star of 'Top Gun: Maverick,' has spoken about the strong foundation of his relationship with actress Michelle Randolph, citing their shared values as a key element. The couple, whose relationship has been the subject of engagement rumors, confirmed their romance in July with a kiss shared on Instagram.
In a recent interview with Esquire, Powell, 37, highlighted the similarities that bond him and the 28-year-old 'Landman' actress. "Life is fast for both of us, and we have the same values," Powell stated. "She loves her family. I love my family. And we both care about work a lot. We both like to show up for our partners. And yet we also understand the balance of it all."
The couple spent the summer together, with Powell joining Randolph in Paris while she filmed a project there in July and August.
Powell emphasized the supportive nature of their relationship, noting the significant impact of having a partner who champions one's success. "There is something so lovely about someone rooting for you," he explained. "Someone who wants you to win in all the ways that are good for you as a human. Not just professionally but in all the ways that are good for your soul."
Randolph first publicly addressed her relationship with Powell in February, approximately three months after initial dating speculation began. The pair had been seen together at a Texas honky-tonk bar in November, leading to reports that they were casually dating.
Randolph has expressed a desire to keep her personal life private, telling InStyle that she believes "nothing good comes from" public perception of one's personal life. She added, "It should be personal and reserved for yourself and those who are close to you. So, ironically, I think I've learned that I want to keep it private."
Powell was previously in a relationship with model Gigi Paris, which ended in April 2023. He also faced romance rumors with his 'Anyone But You' co-star Sydney Sweeney during the film's press tour, though both actors have denied any romantic involvement.
Powell's recent projects include a leading role in the 2025 sci-fi film 'The Running Man' and an appearance in Hulu's comedy series 'Chad Powers.' Randolph, who began her acting career in 2017, has appeared in the series '1923' and currently stars as Ainsley Norris in Taylor Sheridan's drama 'Landman,' alongside Demi Moore and Billy Bob Thornton.
