Glasnow's NSFW Three-Word Response Ends Press Conference
Dodgers pitcher Tyler Glasnow offered a brief, expletive-laced reaction as his media availability concluded.
Moments before the Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves were set to begin Game 3 of the National League Division Series, pitcher Tyler Glasnow concluded his press conference with the media in a memorable fashion.
Glasnow's availability to reporters was notably brief, ending after he was asked only three questions. His response to conclude the session was a concise three words: "Done? F— yeah."
Glasnow then gave a thumbs-up to the media members present and departed the podium. The reason for the brevity of his press conference remains unclear, but Glasnow will now shift his focus to the upcoming game.
The Dodgers and Braves entered Game 3 with the series tied 1-1. Both teams had previously endured a scorching heat wave that affected Dodger Stadium during the weekend series.
Los Angeles secured a 5-3 victory in Game 1, with home runs from Teoscar Hernandez, Kyle Tucker, and Max Muncy. However, Atlanta managed to win Game 2, forcing the Dodgers to depart for Atlanta for Games 3 and 4. In Game 2, Blake Snell was removed in the fourth inning, and the Braves ultimately secured a 3-1 lead that the Dodgers could not overcome despite a ninth-inning homer from Muncy.
For Game 3, Yoshinobu Yamamoto was slated to start for the Dodgers against Atlanta's Chris Sale. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts adjusted the team's lineup, placing Shohei Ohtani in the fifth batting spot, a position he had not occupied since 2020.
Glasnow is anticipated to pitch potentially in an elimination game on Wednesday, depending on the outcome of Tuesday's contest. If the Dodgers win on Tuesday, Glasnow is expected to pitch on Wednesday to try and secure their spot in the NLCS. Should they lose, he would be tasked with pitching to extend their season.
