Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann has been disciplined for drug possession and attempting to smuggle a package into Clinton Correctional Facility, a maximum-security prison in New York known as 'Little Siberia'.
Records obtained by The Post show correctional officers caught Heuermann, 62, in mid-July in possession of unspecified drugs and attempting to smuggle an item into the facility. The prison, located in the Adirondack Mountains near the Canadian border, is one of New York state's oldest and houses numerous high-profile inmates.
Heuermann is scheduled for a hearing regarding the infractions on September 18. The specific drugs involved and the contents of the smuggled package were not disclosed in the disciplinary records. Heuermann is serving multiple life sentences for the murders of at least three women whose remains were discovered on Gilgo Beach.
