Gigi Hadid Shares Rare Photos of Daughter Khai on Her Sixth Birthday

Gigi Hadid took to Instagram to share a series of rare photos of her daughter, Khai, in celebration of her sixth birthday. The model, who recently sparked marriage rumors with partner Bradley Cooper, uploaded the pictures on Sunday from a lighthearted birthday bash.

Hadid, who shares Khai with ex-One Direction member Zayn Malik, expressed her deep affection for her daughter in the post's caption. "My baby turned 6 last week celebrating her is such a gift," Hadid wrote. "My mirror, my muse, the most fulfilling love. Couldn't have imagined you in my wildest dreams!"

She went on to describe Khai as "Curious, creative, loving, spunky, Frog whisperer, cart-wheeler, tree-climber, worm-digger, self-styler, reader, performer, sweets-enthusiast, animal-lover!!!!!!" Hadid gushed that she feels "so proud" and "lucky" to be Khai's mother.

The images shared by Hadid included a tender embrace with her daughter amidst colorful decorations and glimpses of Khai's baking skills, featuring homemade cupcakes adorned with frosting and sprinkles. The carousel also offered a peek into Khai's personal style and recent shared memories.

Hadid and Malik welcomed Khai in 2020, but the couple separated in 2021 after an on-and-off relationship. Regarding co-parenting, Hadid previously told Vogue, "Zayn and I do our custody schedules months in advance." She added, "That doesn't mean that it doesn't change here and there, but we help each other out and have each other's backs." Hadid also reflected on the challenges of public scrutiny, stating, "There is the hard part of the world knowing this much, and thinking they know everything. What we are interested in is raising our daughter together, with so much respect for each other, and not just as co-parents, but what we've been through together."

Malik also shared photos from Khai's birthday celebration, which took place at Nickelodeon Universe and the Hasbro-themed arcade at American Dream in New Jersey. He posted pictures of Khai at the party, including one of himself lighting candles on a cake. "Khai's 6th birthday this weekend!! Big thank you to everyone who made it extra special @americandream. In her personal life, Hadid has been in a relationship with actor Bradley Cooper since 2023. She described her current relationship as "beautiful" and "so different from what I've experienced before, is the ability to be deeply honest. To say what we think, when we think it."

"We don't necessarily understand all the challenges of each other's jobs, but the important thing is to have someone who supports you - and helps you stay grounded," Hadid told Vogue France.
