Gigi Hadid showcased her ensemble for the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, which took place on Friday night in New York City. The couple exchanged vows in front of an estimated 1,000 guests, including numerous celebrities.
Hadid's hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos, shared details and images of her look on Instagram. The model wore a sparkling pink Wiederhoeft corset dress adorned with beads, a custom piece retailing for $14,500. Giannetos described the styling as a "soft serve blowout," aiming for a soft and sweet aesthetic that evoked the feeling of soft-serve ice cream, with voluminous texture. He stated his intention was for Hadid to appear timeless with vintage waves and an extreme side part, resembling a "star on a film noir."
The hairstylist also revealed that he had given Hadid a haircut prior to the wedding weekend, creating new "heart-shaped hair" with bouncy layers. Hadid's makeup, handled by Carolina Gonzalez, featured a soft glam look with shimmering metallic mauve eyeshadow, sculpted cheekbones, and a soft pink lip.
Swift's representative, Tree Paine, confirmed that the singer chose not to have bridesmaids, instead naming her brother, Austin Swift, as her "man of honor." Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, and Jason Kelce served as best man for his brother Travis.
The wedding festivities included an earlier, more intimate gathering on Thursday for close family and friends. The exterior of Madison Square Garden, the venue for the main event, was illuminated in pink and featured large screens displaying "JUST&T MARRIED!"
Reports indicate that the reception featured performances by musicians including Stevie Nicks, Paul McCartney, and Tim McGraw. It is also believed that Swift herself performed for the guests.
