Giants Face Commanders in Week 5 Showdown for NFC East Lead

The New York Giants, currently in sole possession of first place in the NFC East, will face division rival Washington Commanders on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. This marks the first of two matchups between the teams this season.

The Giants (3-1) ascended to the top of the division after a 36-24 victory over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4. Quarterback Jameis Winston threw for 250 yards and three touchdowns in the win, while cornerback Deonte Banks sealed the game with a 98-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Washington, holding a 1-3 record, is set to welcome back starting quarterback Jayden Daniels, who has been cleared to play following an elbow injury that caused him to miss the team's last two games. The Commanders are coming off a 30-13 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in London.

Fans can watch the game on FOX. For those without cable, the game can be streamed for free through a five-day trial of DIRECTV's Choice package, which includes FOX and over 125 channels. The game will be held at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland.
