Giants Aim to Extend Lead in NFC East Against Saints

The New York Giants hold sole possession of first place in the NFC East as the NFL season enters its sixth week. Their current unbeaten streak will be tested today against the New Orleans Saints, who are considered slight favorites despite a 1-4 record.

Last Sunday, the Giants secured a 3-1-1 record after a dramatic overtime tie against their divisional rivals, the Washington Commanders. The game concluded with a 27-27 score.

Jameis Winston, the Giants' primary quarterback, threw for 326 yards and three touchdowns in the tie against Washington. He will face his former team today.

The Saints have managed only one win this season, a 24-17 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. They are currently on a three-game losing streak following a 23-13 home defeat to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5.

Sunday's game is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and will be broadcast on FOX.

Fans seeking to watch the game without cable can stream it for free via DIRECTV, which is offering a five-day free trial. The Choice plan, including over 125 channels, carries FOX.
