The New York Giants have signed undrafted rookie tight end Tyler Moore and defensive tackle Marlon Davidson, bolstering their roster on the eve of training camp. The team is scheduled to travel to White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, for the start of camp on Tuesday.
Moore, who spent four seasons at Iowa State, recorded 21 catches for 245 yards and two touchdowns. Davidson, a 28-year-old defensive tackle, has appeared in 25 career games since being selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He played in one game for the Houston Texans last season and is expected to fill the roster spot vacated by defensive tackle C.J. Ravenell, who was recently waived with a non-football injury designation.
In addition to the signings, the Giants hosted 18 players for tryouts, including notable names such as linebacker Kenneth Murray and quarterback Jake Haener. Murray is a former first-round pick who has played for the Chargers, Titans, and Cowboys. Haener, a 2023 fourth-round selection, played in eight games for the New Orleans Saints in 2024, making one start. Defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi, a native of Far Rockaway, also participated in the tryouts. Fatukasi previously spent four seasons with the New York Jets before signing a three-year contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars and also played for the Texans.
