Giant Dinosaurs Roam Bay Area's Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch This Fall
The Morgan Hill attraction offers free admission and a prehistoric twist on autumn festivities.
Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch in Morgan Hill, California, has opened for the fall season, featuring life-size animatronic dinosaurs among its pumpkin displays. Admission to the farm is free, allowing visitors to explore the grounds and enjoy the seasonal atmosphere.
The patch, located south of San Jose, has expanded its attractions this year to include towering dragons alongside other prehistoric creatures. Visitors can also find animatronic “dino babies” adding an element of cuteness to the exhibit. The combination of mythical and prehistoric beasts creates a unique environment among the pumpkins and hay bales.
Beyond the free general admission, Spina Farms offers a variety of ticketed rides and attractions. These include tractor rides, pumpkin blasters for target practice, and a labyrinth maze. Most individual attractions are priced at $8, while a bundle for the hayride and dino walk costs $10. For those looking for an all-inclusive experience, a $45 park pass covers six children's attractions: the farm train, a cow-themed train, a bee-themed train, a corn maze, pumpkin blasters, and a hayride. The dino ride and pumpkin cups are separate at $8 each.
The pumpkin patch is open daily, weather permitting, through November 2. While entry and browsing are free, parking fees apply on weekends. From Friday through Sunday, parking is $30 cash only, but it is free Monday through Thursday. Guests are permitted to bring their own food and drinks. For those wishing to purchase refreshments on-site, vendors will be offering seasonal items such as roasted sweet corn, churros, tacos, smash burgers, and pumpkin-flavored baked goods.
Visitors have expressed enthusiasm for the attraction, with comments highlighting the unique dinosaur theme and the overall enjoyment of the farm's offerings. The farm has been noted for consistently enhancing its attractions each year.
