Gia Giudice has spoken out about her role during a recent airport incident involving her sister, Milania Giudice. The eldest of Teresa Giudice's four daughters addressed the situation on TikTok, responding to a fan who commented on Gia's perceived role as a "calm peacemaker."
Gia confirmed this sentiment, stating in her reply, "job of being the oldest." She also "liked" other comments from fans expressing well wishes for her sister and acknowledging Gia as a good sister.
The incident in question occurred at Tampa International Airport, where Milania, 20, was involved in a tense encounter with Gia and their mother, Teresa Giudice. A video shared and later deleted by Milania captured the argument, which took place with police officers present.
According to an incident report obtained by Page Six, Milania was reportedly "having suicidal thoughts" and experiencing a "mental breakdown" at the time. The report also indicated she had recently been released from a hospital and was accompanied by a counselor. Milania briefly ran off before being located by authorities and escorted to her gate.
Milania's manager confirmed that she is "under the care of professionals" following the event. The statement also mentioned that Milania is going through a difficult time, particularly after the death of her best friend, Victoria Zardoya, in July.
Milania's father, Joe Giudice, spoke to Page Six about how the loss of his daughter's friend has deeply affected Milania, describing her as a "good girl" with a "big heart" who is currently navigating a challenging period.
This airport incident follows a prior legal issue for Milania. In May, she was arrested and charged with simple assault in New Jersey following a domestic dispute. Her sister Gabriella had called the police, reporting Milania was acting erratically. During Milania's arraignment, a judge alleged that she punched a victim in the forehead. Milania pleaded not guilty and has enrolled in anger management classes as part of the ongoing case.
