Georgina Rodriguez, fiancée of soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, was observed enjoying a beach day in Miami on Sunday, soaking up the sun with friends. Rodriguez, 32, wore a black halterneck bikini paired with a pink sarong.

Rodriguez, who with Ronaldo helps raise a family of five, also displayed her 37-carat oval-cut diamond engagement ring, which experts have estimated to be worth between $4 million and $5 million. The couple is nearing their first anniversary of engagement, having become engaged last August after eight years of dating. Ronaldo proposed to Rodriguez in the early morning hours, a moment he shared with Piers Morgan, recalling how their children's presence prompted the proposal. He also detailed his effort to find the perfect ring for Rodriguez, fulfilling one of her dreams.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo has faced challenges during the World Cup tournament. Portugal did not finish at the top of their group and is scheduled to play Croatia on July 2. Despite criticism regarding his performance, Ronaldo scored two goals against Uzbekistan, declaring, "I’m back." However, head coach Roberto Martinez has defended his decision to continue playing the striker, who has played 90 minutes in each of Portugal's three group matches with limited impact beyond the two goals against Uzbekistan.

It's been a tricky first few weeks of the tournament for Ronaldo, 41, who has battled criticism of his ineffective performance during his bid to win a first World Cup for Portugal.

Martinez has stated that Ronaldo is accustomed to being in the right place and maintaining mental strength and discipline. The coach also indicated that while changes to Ronaldo's playing time might be considered for future games, it would be similar to decisions made for any other player.
