Georgia Mother Found Dismembered in Tub; Suspect Arrested

The dismembered remains of a Georgia mother, identified by her family as 26-year-old Shanteria “Tia” Mosely, were discovered in a plastic tub at an apartment complex in Smyrna. Her family had been searching for her after she failed to return home from DoorDash deliveries.

According to reports, Mosely’s family was able to track her phone, leading them to the Park Valley apartment complex. After contacting Smyrna police, who initially conducted a brief search, relatives eventually spotted 18-year-old Kingston Lammar Bradley peering from a window. When questioned, Bradley initially denied seeing Mosely. Shortly after, family members observed Bradley carrying a plastic tub, which he allegedly dropped, revealing Mosely’s dismembered torso.

Authorities later conducted a search of Bradley's residence, reportedly finding blood-stained areas, cleaning supplies, and a bloody saw. Bradley was arrested on a felony charge of concealing the death of another person and is considered a person of interest in Mosely's murder.

Smyrna Lt. Meredith Holt stated that while the family identified the victim, the remainder of Mosely's body has not yet been recovered, and definitive identification will require DNA analysis. Police are investigating whether there was any connection between Bradley and Mosely. DoorDash confirmed to authorities that Mosely had not clocked in for deliveries on the day she went missing.

The case has been described as particularly gruesome. Records indicate Bradley has a prior history of violence, including an incident in December 2024 where he allegedly assaulted his father. He faced charges including terroristic threats, battery, and criminal trespass. Bradley had pleaded not guilty in April and was reportedly seeking inpatient mental health treatment.

Mosely, remembered by her aunt as a joyful and smiling individual, was a mother. The investigation into her death is ongoing.
