A Georgia woman was killed in a tragic incident outside her home when she was allegedly dragged by her estranged ex-husband's truck as he drove away intoxicated. Janice Frazier, 58, was captured on surveillance footage on June 21 outside her Dekalb County residence attempting to confront her ex-husband, who family members reported arrived at the home around 2 a.m. while heavily under the influence.

According to family accounts, Frazier's ex-husband was seen with a flask before exiting his vehicle and approaching her front door. He then returned to his truck. Frazier reportedly ran outside in an effort to prevent him from driving drunk. Video shows her briefly interacting with the driver before the truck accelerated. Frazier was seen holding onto the driver's side door before losing her grip as the vehicle sped away. Police stated she fell and was run over by the front of the truck.

Following the incident, the surveillance footage reportedly shows the driver returning to the home, dragging Frazier's body back up the driveway, changing her clothes, and then calling her son. Family members stated that the ex-husband claimed to be unaware of what had happened when he contacted the son.

Frazier's niece, Ashley Black, expressed dismay at the ex-husband's alleged actions, noting he did not attempt to provide aid. "To not even call 911, not to try to do CPR, but to drag her up a driveway, it’s just heartless," Black told WSBTV.

Her nephew, Chris Frazier, shared his family's devastation and their demand for a thorough investigation. "For a son to see that, it was just not called for," he said. "This was so unexpected... This just hit us like a storm. We didn’t see this coming from a mile away."

Frazier's family said they have been left devastated by her sudden passing and are demanding police carry out a full investigation

Family members also revealed that after Frazier's death, they found a letter from the ex-husband dated the day of the incident, in which he reportedly expressed difficulty moving on from their breakup. He was later seen at the home retrieving belongings from a storage shed.

The Dekalb County Police Department has confirmed that Frazier's death is under investigation but has not released further details regarding the ex-husband.

The surveillance footage initially showed the driver swigging from a flask in the driveway when he showed up, before Frazier tried to stop him speeding away
