Jayden Williams, Georgia's youngest elected mayor, has been removed from office by the Stockbridge City Council, just 10 months after taking the position. The impeachment follows allegations of misused city funds and the exchange of sexually suggestive messages and images with an 18-year-old high school student.
Williams, who recently turned 23, was sworn into office in January. The city council initiated the impeachment proceedings against him for the alleged misconduct. Stockbridge is located south of Atlanta.
