Georgia Man Charged in Dismemberment of DoorDash Driver

Authorities have charged an 18-year-old man with murder in the dismemberment of a missing DoorDash driver whose remains were discovered by her family in Smyrna, Georgia. Shanteria Mosley, 26, disappeared Wednesday morning after leaving her Atlanta home and never returned, according to police. She was not logged into the DoorDash platform or accepting orders at the time she went missing.

Concerned family members tracked Mosley's phone to the Park Valley Apartments complex in Smyrna. After an initial search that yielded no results, the family located Mosley's car and contacted the police. According to her aunt, Michelle Weaver, responding officers briefly checked the area before leaving. Unsatisfied, the family continued their search.

Upon returning to Mosley's vehicle, the family observed a man, later identified as 18-year-old Kingston Bradley, watching them from an apartment window. When questioned, Bradley claimed he had not seen anyone exit Mosley's car. Later, Weaver reported seeing Bradley carrying a laundry bag containing a plastic tub, which he dropped before fleeing.

Moseley's family discovered the dismembered torso of the 26-year-old inside the plastic tub. Police subsequently arrested Bradley, finding bloodstains and a large, bloody saw in his apartment. Investigators also reported smelling bleach and finding cleaning supplies and buckets.

A search warrant executed on a vehicle on Friday led police to discover garbage bags in the trunk containing body parts, which authorities believe belong to Mosley.

Lieutenant Meredith Holt of the Smyrna Police Department described the crime as "particularly gruesome" and acknowledged the family's grief and search for answers. Bradley has been charged with concealing the death of another and murder and is being held without bond.

Bradley has a prior history of violence. Court records from December 2024 show he faced charges including terroristic threats, battery, simple battery, and criminal trespass-damage to property following an alleged altercation with his father. In that case, Bradley was accused of hitting his father with an Xbox controller, breaking down a door, and pushing a juvenile into a window. He pleaded not guilty in April and was scheduled for a court appearance in October.

Bradley's father, Ken Williams, issued a statement expressing condolences to Mosley's family and asserting his own lack of involvement or prior knowledge of the incident. Williams stated that his son had been dealing with mental illness for the past six years and that he is cooperating with the investigation.

Authorities are continuing to investigate whether Mosley and Bradley knew each other and the circumstances surrounding her death. Mosley will be remembered by her family for her smile, laughter, and joyful spirit.
