Georgia Kousoulou has revealed her dedication to Pilates, attending classes three times a week, as a key component of her fitness regimen. The 35-year-old TOWIE star showcased her toned physique in a bikini on Instagram, attributing her current shape in part to the low-impact exercise.
Kousoulou stated that training has become more than just about staying in shape; it significantly benefits her mental well-being. She described feeling "groggy, tired & irritable" if she skips her workouts, which typically include two to three Pilates sessions and one gym visit per week.
Her posts have garnered positive comments from fellow reality stars, including Danielle Armstrong and Chelsee Healey, who praised her appearance. Kousoulou has lost three stone since welcoming her daughter Gigi with husband Tommy Mallet. The couple had undergone IVF for the pregnancy, a year after experiencing a miscarriage.
Previously, Kousoulou addressed speculation about using weight-loss injections, refuting such claims. She detailed her weight loss, which she stated occurred over eight months, averaging about 1.5 to 2 pounds per week. She emphasized that this was achieved through "HARD HARD exercise & full control & determination," also citing her upcoming wedding as a motivator.
In addition to her fitness journey, Kousoulou recently shared a personal health update regarding her breast implants. After visiting a doctor due to a lump, it was discovered that one of her implants had ruptured. Although the lump itself was benign, the ruptured implant necessitated prompt removal.
She recounted the doctor's discovery during an ultrasound, noting that the implant was not supposed to be in that condition and that implants can leak. She has since consulted with a surgeon in London who expressed surprise she had not experienced more pain, given her recent life events including childbirth, IVF, and marriage. Kousoulou acknowledged that she had overlooked some discomfort due to being busy.
Kousoulou advocates for individuals considering cosmetic surgery to undergo regular check-ups. She highlighted the importance of scans for those with implants, as ruptures might not be otherwise detectable. She expressed gratitude for undergoing the scan that revealed the issue before it could potentially cause further complications.
