George Santos Joins ‘Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test’ Season 5
Fifteen new recruits, including the former congressman, will undergo intense military training in Malaysia.
Bootcamp is back in session as "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test" returns for its fifth season on Sept. 24. The new group of 15 recruits includes several familiar faces from Bravo, reality television, sports, and politics, notably former U.S. Representative George Santos.
The season will see recruits endure rigorous challenges designed to mirror the U.S. Special Forces selection course in Malaysia. Returning to guide the recruits through the demanding training are Rudy Reyes, Jason Fox, Mark “Billy” Billingham, and Jovon “Q” Quarles.
Joining Santos among the new recruits are actors Oliver Hudson and Candace Cameron Bure; Bravo personalities Brandi Glanville, Mauricio Umansky, and Alexia Umansky; "Selling Sunset" star Bre Tiesi; former athletes LeSean McCoy and Matt Barnes; comedian Hannah Stocking; actress Ruby Rose; Olympic figure skater Maxim Naumov; boxer Alycia Baumgardner; entrepreneur and actor David Charvet; and Collin Gosselin.
Bre Tiesi shared that former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel, who participated in Season 4 of "Special Forces," encouraged her to join the show, warning her that she would "hate" discussing her feelings with the directing staff. Manziel also reportedly convinced her she could handle the challenges.
"Special Forces: World's Toughest Test" premieres on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 9 p.m. ET on FOX. New episodes will air weekly in the same time slot.
