Disgraced former New York Representative George Santos has joined the cast of Fox's "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test," seeking what he described as a "second chance" and an opportunity to "conquer demons."
In an exclusive clip obtained by Page Six's "Virtual Reali-Tea," fellow contestant David Charvet questioned Santos's presence on the show. Santos responded that he was "trying to prove a point to myself." When asked if he was attempting to clear his name following his federal conviction for wire fraud and aggravated identity theft, Santos expressed skepticism about whether a name can ever be truly cleared.
"Special Forces: World's Toughest Test" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
