George Kittle's Favorite Purchase: A 50-Foot American Flagpole

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, who signed a contract that made him the NFL's highest-paid player at his position in April 2025, identified a 50-foot American flagpole as his favorite personal purchase. Kittle, whose current contract is set to expire in 2029 and will have paid him approximately $155 million across three deals, shared this detail on the "Bussin' With the Boys" podcast.

Kittle's significant purchases include building a football field and a workout facility at his home, alongside the installation of the substantial flagpole. He described the flagpole and the massive American flag it displays as the most prominent feature on his property, visible immediately upon arrival. "It's pretty f-----g massive," Kittle stated. "Right when you pull in, it sits right next to the football field. It's the only thing you can f-----g see."

This flagpole is situated on Kittle's approximately 178-acre ranch located in the Nashville area of Tennessee. The 50-foot structure is comparable in height to a four- or five-story building.

Kittle expressed his admiration for the flagpole, particularly at night when it is illuminated. "It does," he said when asked if it fires him up. "I saw it last night. We have lights pointing up at it, and I was just, had just got out of the car, I was like, 'Oh, God, it's so beautiful.' So, yeah, that's one of my favorite purchases."

The article notes that while the NFL sometimes faces criticism for player conduct or league initiatives, Kittle's choice serves as a reminder of the patriotism present within the league. The author suggests Kittle embodies a proud American spirit.
