George Kittle Mocks Kyle Juszczyk's 'Chugging' Celebration Amidst NFL Fine

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has added a humorous twist to the ongoing situation involving his teammate Kyle Juszczyk’s touchdown celebration and subsequent NFL fine. Kittle took to X (formerly Twitter) to post a picture of Juszczyk relaxing in a hot tub with a beer in hand, captioning it, "He can’t be stopped!! This is before practice! Are you kidding me @JuiceCheck44." He further tagged the NFL, calling Juszczyk "a menace."
The post comes after Juszczyk was fined $14,926 by the NFL for his touchdown celebration in the 49ers' recent 35-13 victory over the Miami Dolphins. Juszczyk mimicked chugging a juice bottle after scoring his first touchdown of the season.
According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, the league's explanation for the fine stated that Juszczyk's "imitation of chugging a beer constituted an offensive demonstration and could reasonably be construed as being in poor taste." Juszczyk, however, clarified to Schefter that the celebration was an "ode to his nickname, ‘Juice’" and that he does not even drink beer, marking this as the first time he has been fined for the gesture.
Juszczyk has reportedly begun the appeal process for the fine, reposting Schefter’s announcement with the comment, "Can’t make this stuff up…"
Kittle and Juszczyk have been teammates for nine years, both joining the 49ers in 2017. The two players have maintained a close friendship throughout their time with the team, often seen together during the offseason.
