Actor George Clooney attended a presidential dinner in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, France, on Sunday. He was observed charming a woman who appeared to be working outside the restaurant, La Colombe d'Or, as he arrived. The interaction included a handshake, a hand on the shoulder, and pleasantries, with the woman appearing visibly delighted.
The dinner took place a day before Clooney's participation in the Lumiere Summit on Monday. The summit, co-chaired by Korean President Lee Jae Myung and French President Emmanuel Macron, focused on the international growth of moviemaking.
At the summit, President Myung announced an initiative to invest $581 million in partnership with France to promote the expansion of the film industry and encourage collaboration between the two countries.
Clooney's recent activities also include his attendance at the 83rd Venice Film Festival, where he received the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement on Wednesday. During his acceptance speech, he paid tribute to his wife, human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, highlighting her legal work and their family life.
