Gemma Collins Reportedly Demands Own Bedroom and Toilet for Big Brother Return
The reality TV star is set to re-enter the Big Brother house, with reports detailing her specific accommodation requests.
Gemma Collins is reportedly set to make a return to the Big Brother house tonight, arriving with a list of demands, including her own private bedroom and toilet. The former TOWIE star, aged 45, previously appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2016, where she became known for memorable quotes and moments.
A source told The Sun that Collins is requesting separate accommodations due to reported claustrophobia, a condition she cited during her prior stint on the show. "Gemma is a reality queen and deserves her own bedroom and bog, end of," the source stated. "Some may call them diva demands but others may decree the provision only fitting of a celebrity of her standard."
Collins's anticipated entry follows a recent guest appearance by her friends Jedward, who participated in the house without similar room requests. Her return is expected to occur after one of the current housemates, Pauline or Rob, is evicted.
Reports of Collins's potential return began circulating last month, with discussions reportedly underway with ITV bosses. A source indicated at the time that her star power had grown beyond the reality television sphere since her last appearance, referencing her recently launched docuseries on Sky. "Gemma's team are in talks with ITV and everyone is hopeful this gets across the line," the source added, noting that Collins is a "savvy businesswoman" and that her return would be significant for her fanbase.
During her 2016 appearance on Celebrity Big Brother, Collins famously declared, "I'm claustrophobic, Darren!" when feeling overwhelmed. She also engaged in notable moments, including a brief exit from the house with Danniella Westbrook following a disagreement over housemate Stephanie Davis, though they were later persuaded to return. Collins also expressed frustration with the show's challenges, feeling she was working "24/7," and once demanded heated rollers for her hair, stating that straighteners had "frazzled" it and that "only weirdos" used them.
