Geelong Coach's Texts at Center of Girlfriend's Court Battle
Private messages from a deceased football coach are now a focal point in a legal dispute involving his girlfriend, who faces stalking charges.
Private text messages sent by Zoran Vidovic, a former Geelong football coach, before his fatal fall in Bali are now at the center of a court battle, with police stating the case has escalated.
Vidovic, a father of two, died after falling from a top-floor restaurant terrace at the Apurva Kempinski Hotel in Sawangan, Nusa Dua. His girlfriend, glamorous lawyer Zagi Kozarov, is facing stalking charges. Police have criticized the ongoing legal proceedings, suggesting they have become excessive.
Kozarov was reportedly seeking 17 different categories of documents, with the court hearing that the matter involves significant complexity. Her lawyer, Phillip Bloemen, described the case as being out of the norm, noting that Kozarov had previously been awarded a $435,000 damages payout.
Kozarov had reportedly attempted to save Vidovic, 53, as he teetered on the edge of the terrace. She also hosted a memorial service for him, attended by her children and family, where doves were released for his soul.
