Gary Barlow has emerged from the "tour bubble" following Take That's recent "The Circus" tour reprise, reflecting on the age-related physical challenges he encountered and announcing his return to work on the band's new album.
Barlow, 55, recently concluded the large-scale revival of the 2009 "The Circus" tour, which required a significant physical commitment. He confessed that while the tour was their "best ever," he couldn't foresee undertaking such a show again due to his age, stating he "just can't see a way I could physically do this show again."
Following the tour's final performance in Dublin last month, Barlow shared his reflections on Instagram. He expressed gratitude for the fans' patience and emphasized his preference for posting content with genuine substance. "I don't like posting unless I really have something to say. Content for content's sake is rubbish," he wrote.
"I'm fully out of the tour bubble now and back on the road to getting this new Take That album finished and delivered," Barlow stated. He acknowledged that nearing the end of album production can be a challenging phase, marked by self-doubt, but assured fans that "we're nearly there."
Barlow also hinted at future plans for European fans, promising "big things coming your way that we're all incredibly excited about."
To recuperate and spend time with his family, Barlow took a holiday to Mexico, sharing photos from the One&Only Palmilla resort in Los Cabos. He posted shirtless images showcasing his physique, a result of his continued commitment to staying active and fit post-tour.
"It's also nice to have some downtime with the family. We finally took a holiday and had the best time @oneandonlypalmilla what a spot," he captioned one of his posts. During the tour, Barlow had also been noted for his physical transformation, having previously revealed he underwent a regimen at the Lanserhof at The Arts Club to prepare for the demanding shows.
