Gary Barlow Plans New Album and Major Tour Amid Health Discussions

Gary Barlow is preparing for a significant period of activity with Take That, including the release of their 10th studio album, "Dreamers," on November 20, and an expansive European tour scheduled for 2027.

Despite recent public comments about the physical toll of Take That's "Circus" tour, which concluded in July, Barlow, 55, is not scaling back his professional commitments. Friends have reportedly reassured that Barlow is in good health, with one dismissing recent unflattering photographs as unrepresentative and stating he is "fit for 55."

The upcoming "Dreamers Tour" is set to be Take That's largest European tour to date, featuring 31 shows across 31 cities in 16 countries, with additional dates yet to be announced. The tour is scheduled to commence on June 3 in Switzerland and conclude in Germany on July 23.

Barlow has been candid about the physical demands of touring as he ages. Following the "Circus" tour, he expressed on social media that he could not physically perform that particular show again due to age-related challenges. He also described experiencing post-tour blues, feeling like he had "fallen off a cliff" after the final show in Dublin.

To prepare for the demanding 2027 tour, Barlow has previously documented his efforts to stay fit, including visits to a luxury wellness clinic where he underwent various physical assessments and training. He has emphasized the importance of staying active and has been enjoying family time, including a recent holiday in Mexico.

Take That, now a trio consisting of Barlow, Mark Owen (54), and Howard Donald (58), released their album "Progress" in 2011 and have continued to tour and release music. "Dreamers" marks their tenth studio album, with the "Dreamers Tour" representing a significant undertaking for the band in 2027.
