Gael Cameron, a former cast member of “Below Deck Mediterranean,” has spoken out about the emotional impact of her ex-boyfriend Nathan Gallagher’s domestic violence arrest, stating that she lost her “spark” following the incident. Cameron shared her feelings in an Instagram post, acknowledging the support she received from a close friend during the difficult time.

Gallagher, who also appeared on the Bravo series, was arrested in Australia in December 2025 on domestic violence charges. According to a police report obtained by Rolling Stone, he allegedly assaulted a woman, later identified as Cameron, at a Sydney apartment complex. He faced charges including assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally choking a person without consent, and common assault.

Authorities subsequently issued an order for Gallagher’s arrest to bring him to court for the alleged assault. He also faces a separate assault charge from an incident that occurred four years prior.

Cameron, with whom Gallagher shares a 1-year-old son, Kayden, previously addressed her ex’s arrest, thanking her followers for their support. In a statement via Instagram Stories, she said, “It’s been a tough season, but I have been using the past few months to quietly heal and rebuild for little man and myself.”

Gallagher has acknowledged his past mistakes, telling Rolling Stone in August that he is not “perfect” and will take responsibility for his actions. However, he also stated that he would not accept being portrayed solely through one person’s account of their relationship, claiming to have evidence that could provide further context.

Bravo confirmed on September 4 that they would not be working with Gallagher in the future following the arrest. A spokesperson for the network stated, “Bravo does not plan on working with Nathan in the future.” The network indicated that Gallagher would not be edited out of the current season’s footage.

Gallagher has been a part of the “Below Deck” franchise for three seasons, with production for the current season concluding before his legal issues came to light.
