Glen Wadsworth, the father of Ellidy Pullin's fiancé Brock Wadsworth, has commented on the ongoing feud between Pullin and her late partner Chumpy Pullin's father, Chris Pullin. The dispute resurfaced after Ellidy announced her engagement to Brock, with Chris Pullin expressing a desire for her to relinquish the Pullin surname she adopted after Chumpy's death.
Glen Wadsworth acknowledged awareness of the feud but stated he tries to remain detached from the matter. "I've heard about it but I try to keep out of that stuff. I've got seven kids and two stepkids. [Chris and Ellidy] are big people and have to sort it out for themselves," Wadsworth told the Daily Mail. He confirmed that he believes the engagement news is "great news" for his son and Ellidy.
Ellidy, a well-known Gold Coast influencer, was engaged to Chumpy Pullin, a champion snowboarder who died in a spearfishing accident in 2020. She adopted the Pullin surname by deed poll after his death, despite not being married or engaged to him at the time. Chris Pullin has indicated that he believes Ellidy has "blocked" him and his late wife since 2024, following a disagreement over a charity foundation established in Chumpy's name. He has also stated he has not seen his granddaughter, Minnie, who was conceived via IVF using Chumpy's sperm after his death, since she was an infant.
Glen Wadsworth, founder of Wadsworth Construction, also reflected on his own past involvement in politics. He ran for the seat of Currumbin in 2020 as a member of the One Nation Party and confirmed he remains a member, though he does not plan to run again. He described his political experience as "not a very fun thing to do," stating that people incorrectly accused him of racism.
One Nation Senator Malcolm Roberts previously described Wadsworth as a businessman who had "run his own construction company for about the last 30 years, employing on average 200 employees." Roberts also characterized Wadsworth as someone "sick of the two tired old parties never delivering what they promise" and a "typical knockabout, streetwise Aussie larrikin who has been a Pauline Hanson supporter since she entered politics."
Wadsworth expressed his enthusiasm for his son Brock potentially becoming a father and expanding the family. Ellidy, who has previously spoken about her desire to give Minnie a sibling, hinted at this possibility on Instagram. Brock has become a father figure to Minnie, who refers to Chumpy as "Daddy in the Sky."
