Chelsea Freeman, wife of Dodgers All-Star Freddie Freeman, shared late Thursday night that she recently experienced a medical scare that led to a hospital visit. She informed her Instagram followers about the incident, describing it as a "little health scare" that required assistance from medical professionals.

Freeman posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed, connected to an IV drip. She has since stated that she is "home & doing okay" and expressed gratitude to the EMTs, nurses, doctors, and family members who provided care.

She advised her followers to seek medical attention if they feel something is wrong, emphasizing that "it’s always the right choice." Freeman indicated she will be "taking it easy for a few days."

Freddie Freeman and the Dodgers had a scheduled day off on Thursday. The team had recently concluded a series in Chicago and was set to begin a new series in Arizona on Friday.

This is not the first time the Freeman family has faced medical challenges. In 2024, their son, Maximus, battled Guillain-Barré syndrome, an illness that prompted Freddie and Chelsea to briefly step away from the team. The toddler has since made a full recovery and was seen participating in a ceremonial first pitch at Dodger Stadium last month.
