Frankie Valli, 92, was seen publicly for the first time in more than two months last Friday in Los Angeles. The musician had previously canceled the remainder of his "Last Encores Tour" due to unspecified health concerns.
Photographs showed Valli being assisted by a man as he exited the passenger side of a black Mercedes. He then entered The Nook restaurant for breakfast.
Valli announced the postponement of his tour dates in an Instagram post on May 29, stating he needed to "focus" on his health. He expressed his apologies to fans for any disappointment and thanked them for their well wishes, adding that he looked forward to recovering and returning to performing.
The "Last Encores Tour," which began in 2023 with his group The Four Seasons, was originally scheduled to continue until late 2026. Valli, a five-time Grammy nominee, did not elaborate on the nature of his health issues.
In a February interview, Valli discussed his continued dedication to touring even after seven decades in the music industry. He emphasized the importance of loving one's work, stating, "You should be doing it out of the fact that you love and it and it’s the most important thing in your life."
