Frankie Muniz Says He's at 'Rock Bottom' Months After Divorce

Frankie Muniz, known for his role in "Malcolm in the Middle," revealed on Instagram that he is experiencing a difficult period, describing it as being at "rock bottom." This admission comes two months after he and his wife, Paige Price, announced their separation.

In his post, Muniz shared that the past six weeks have been a "nightmare." He described feeling that "everything felt heavy, unclear, and like it was falling apart at the same time." The actor, who welcomed their son Mauz in 2021, expressed that he wouldn't wish this "season" on anyone. However, he also reflected on the situation as an opportunity for self-reflection and personal growth, stating that the "unexpected gift in the middle of it is that I’ve had nowhere to hide."

Muniz, 40, noted that hitting rock bottom can be a catalyst for necessary changes. He expressed a belief that in five years, he will look back on this time with gratitude, seeing it as the foundation for future success. "This isn’t the end of the story. It’s the part where I start doing the work... the uncomfortable, unglamorous, necessary work," he wrote, emphasizing his choice to view this period as a foundation rather than a finish line.

He concluded his message with encouragement for others who might be in a similar low place, saying, "If you’re in a low place right now too, you’re not broken. You’re being rebuilt. Let's keep going!"
