Francesca Allen and Ed Crossan Celebrate Second Wedding Ceremony

Francesca Allen, known for her appearance on season five of Love Island in 2019, has found her happily ever after with waste disposal mogul Ed Crossan. The couple, who officially confirmed their romance in November 2021, are set to celebrate their second wedding ceremony abroad this weekend, following an intimate civil ceremony in August.

Allen, 30, and Crossan, 36, were married at Marylebone Town Hall, with details of their larger celebration abroad, which Francesca previously indicated might be in Italy, being kept private.

The couple's relationship began after years of knowing each other through their families. Crossan, who previously dated TOWIE's Amber Turner, is the vice chairman of his father's company, Powerday. He joined the family business in 2007 and has worked his way up to director. Allen and Crossan made their relationship Instagram official in November 2021 after sharing holiday pictures from Dubai.

Allen has described their initial dynamic as complicated, with a period where they were friends before deciding to try a romantic relationship. "It's very complicateddddd haha there just came one point where we both just said shall we try this out and now look at usssss haha!" she shared on social media.

Just seven weeks after going public with their relationship, Crossan proposed. Allen accepted his proposal at Home House, a members club in Marylebone. At the time, she called it the "best Christmas present a girl could ask for." She later revealed they had been dating for 18 months before the engagement but had kept the relationship private.

Allen admitted that wedding planning was not a priority until they had secured a venue. She expressed a preference for Italy as a destination for their wedding, noting its beauty and her partial Italian heritage.

In 2024, Allen defended Crossan after he got a large tattoo of her name inked on his thigh, which some followers initially suspected was an April Fools' prank. Allen shared a video of the tattoo process on Instagram, describing it as a "huge gesture of love." When a fan commented about learning a lesson from ex-partners' names on skin, Allen responded, "Were engaged but ok."

The civil ceremony in August saw Allen wearing a floor-length gown with a bow detail and a wide-brimmed hat, while Crossan wore a light blue suit. The couple departed in a vintage 1959 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL, valued up to £100,000, with their dog Stormi. Allen shared photos on Instagram with the caption "Mr and Mrs Crossan," followed by a montage video captioned "Just married."
