Fox News Launches New All-Female Podcast "The Girls" to Rival "The View"

Fox News is introducing a new all-female podcast titled "The Girls," aiming to offer a fresh perspective on current events and culture, potentially rivaling existing shows like ABC's "The View." The podcast's first episode is set to debut on Thursday, with subsequent episodes airing weekly.

"The Girls" will feature a rotating lineup of co-hosts, with the inaugural episode including "Gutfeld!" panelist Kat Timpf, anchor Harris Faulkner, and "Fox & Friends Weekend" host Rachel Campos-Duffy. The initial cast also features Melissa DeRosa, former Secretary to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, and former ESPN sportscaster Samantha Ponder.

According to Fox News, the podcast will feature unscripted conversations covering a range of topics including politics, pop culture, finance, relationships, and parenting. "The Girls is a natural addition to our growing podcast portfolio," stated Porter Berry, president of Fox News digital and new media, in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. "We’re excited to deliver a no-holds-barred format that captures the authenticity and perspectives of the many dynamic women of Fox News Media and beyond," added Megan Albano, executive VP of morning programming & program development.

Campos-Duffy expressed enthusiasm for the new venture, suggesting that "The View" has become stale. "Everyone's sick of The View,'" she said in a promotional video. "It's the same ladies, they have the exact same opinion." She described "The Girls" as a space for conversations that mirror those had among friends, focusing on real discussions rather than what she characterized as the opinions of "rich Manhattan ladies."

"Pop culture, news, faith, parenting - we're going to have a real conversation," Campos-Duffy added.

The announcement comes shortly after Kat Timpf revealed she is pregnant with her second child. She shared the news during a stand-up comedy performance, with her husband, Cameron Friscia, by her side. Timpf and Friscia, who married in May 2021, welcomed their first child in February 2025. Timpf had previously undergone a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with stage zero breast cancer shortly before the birth of her first child.

Faulkner hinted at the dynamic of the new show, teasing in a clip shared on Instagram that the conversations were "interesting" and that hosts were having "the best time."
