Fox News Host Kat Timpf Announces Second Pregnancy Following Cancer Battle

Fox News host Kat Timpf, 37, announced on stage during a weekend stand-up comedy show that she is pregnant with her second child. The news comes after Timpf's recent battle with breast cancer and the death of her father.

Timpf shared the announcement by opening her blazer to reveal her baby bump. She made light of the situation, joking about her husband, Cameron Friscia, an army veteran, and the long-term commitment of parenthood.

"Well actually, I have a secret," Timpf told the audience, as documented in a clip she later posted to Instagram. "So was I. I shouldn’t have been though because I’m married to a veteran and the army always does seem to take a while to pull out of something."

She added, "What he said would be a quick little excursion looks like an 18-year commitment." Timpf also humorously requested a vasectomy for her husband as a birthday gift, stating, "I’ve had enough surgeries. It’s someone else’s turn."

In a social media post, Timpf expressed gratitude to the audience for keeping her pregnancy a secret until she was ready to share it publicly. "Huge thanks to the 1,500-ish besties at my shows this weekend for keeping my secret," she wrote. "So awesome to be the portal for a new little soul."

This pregnancy announcement follows a challenging period for Timpf. Last year, she underwent a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with stage zero breast cancer just 15 hours before giving birth to her first child in February 2025.

In May, Timpf shared that she had been experiencing "unimaginable horror" after the unexpected death of her father, Daniel, at age 69. She admitted at the time that she did not know how she would recover from the loss.

In June, reflecting on a "really rough year," Timpf announced she had adopted a new cat named Juan. "So everyone knows I had a really rough year last year," she said in an Instagram video. "I was diagnosed with breast cancer, 15 hours later went into labor, gave birth to my son, had a double mastectomy, my dad helped me through the whole thing and then two months after my son's first birthday, my dad just dropped dead."

Timpf and Friscia, who served in Afghanistan, met through the dating app Raya. They married in May 2021 and welcomed their first child, a son, in February 2025.
