Fox News Digital Leads Competitors in August Audience Metrics
Comscore data indicates Fox News Digital reached 76 million unique visitors, surpassing CNN, The New York Times, and others for the month.
Fox News Digital maintained its position as a top news outlet in August 2026, attracting 76 million unique visitors across desktop and mobile devices. This marks the fourth consecutive month the digital platform has led in this metric, according to data from Comscore.
In terms of overall engagement, Fox News Digital recorded 1.47 billion multiplatform views and 3.2 billion multiplatform minutes in August. These figures place it ahead of competitors such as CBS News, which had 70 million unique visitors, and NBC News with 65 million. The New York Times reached 63 million unique visitors, while CNN garnered 56 million.
Fox News Digital has also sustained its leadership in multiplatform views and minutes for extended periods, holding the top spot for 28 consecutive months in multiplatform views and 66 consecutive months in multiplatform minutes.
The brand also demonstrated significant strength on social media platforms. It was the most engaged news brand across social media for the 144th consecutive month, with 85 million total interactions recorded. Facebook accounted for over 26 million of these interactions, followed by Instagram with 14.5 million and X with 4.7 million. On TikTok, Fox News saw a substantial increase in engagement, with over 39 million interactions, representing an 80% rise year-over-year.
Across all social media platforms in August, Fox News collectively achieved 1.4 billion video views.
