Hosts of the "Ruthless" podcast have released a new special on Fox Nation, offering viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the Republican National Committee's Midterm Convention held in Dallas. The special features the podcast hosts navigating the convention floor, engaging with top Republicans and Cabinet officials to capture the party's strategy ahead of the November elections.
"We might catch a Cabinet secretary or two, I think there are people that are walking around," said host Josh Holmes in a preview of the episode. The program blends midterm strategy discussions with the hosts' signature unscripted humor.
During their convention floor walk, the hosts interviewed Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, who commented on President Donald Trump's innovative approach to hosting the midterm convention. "What I love about President Trump is like, he's so innovative. He's creative, he thinks differently. He thinks outside the box. So, for the first time, we're [going to] do a midterm convention," Duffy stated. "I think this is a great idea: energize our base."

The "Ruthless" podcast, which launched in October 2020 with Josh Holmes and Shashank Tripathi, expanded its partnership with Fox News Media in 2025 as part of the company's New Media initiative. Michael Duncan and John Ashbrook later joined as co-hosts. The podcast is known for its irreverent take on conservative politics.
