FOX has announced that the medical drama "Doc," starring Molly Parker, will return for its third season on Tuesday, September 22, at 9:00 p.m. ET. The series, which was renewed for a 22-episode order in March 2026, will once again air on Tuesday nights, preceded by the second season premiere of "Best Medicine."
"Doc has become a true breakout for Fox, delivering our largest scripted multi-platform audience of the season and building remarkable momentum across Fox, Hulu, Netflix, and internationally — earning it another 22-episode order," said Michael Thorn, President of Fox Television Network, in a statement. Thorn credited the success to the creative leadership of Hank Steinberg and Barbie Kligman, their partners at Sony, and Parker's performance.
Blair Underwood has been added as a series regular for the upcoming season, joining returning cast members Molly Parker, Omar Metwally, Amirah Vann, Jon Ecker, Anya Banerjee, and Patrick Walker. Felicity Huffman and Charlotte Fountain-Jardim will not be returning as series regulars, though Fountain-Jardim is expected to make guest appearances.
Seasons 1 and 2 of "Doc" are currently available for streaming. Season 1 can be found on Netflix, while Season 2 is available on Hulu, FOX One, and Disney+. Disney+ offers various subscription plans, including bundles with Hulu and other services.
