Four Stabbed, Suspect Shot by Police in Botched Queens Burglary

A violent incident unfolded Friday night at a gas station in Jamaica, Queens, resulting in four people being hospitalized with stab wounds and the suspect being shot by police. The botched burglary occurred around 10 p.m. on 149th Street, according to sources.

Emergency vehicles converged on the suburban street as the situation developed. Authorities confirmed that four individuals were transported to area hospitals with stab injuries. The suspect was shot by responding officers. The scene remained active, with police blocking off the street.

One neighbor, who has lived in the area for 30 years, described the event as unprecedented for the typically quiet block. "I went to visit my husband in Long Island in the hospital and came back home and now I can’t get to my house," the resident told The Post. "We all know each other on this block and we say hi."
