Four additional men have been found guilty of sexually abusing a girl living in a children's home in Bradford in the early 2000s. The convictions raise the total number of men convicted of offenses against the girl, referred to as "Anna" by the BBC, to 13.

Mohammed Baig, 47, Sohail Hussain, 40, Mohammed Suleman, 45, and Khurram Iqbal, 40, were convicted of sexual offenses at Bradford Crown Court. All four men are from Bradford and were granted conditional bail. They are scheduled to be sentenced on October 22 at the same court.

Prosecutors told the court that "Anna" was subjected to sexual exploitation by various men from the age of 13. The abuse continued even after she was moved to a children's home. Baig was found guilty of three counts of rape and two counts of indecent assault. Hussain was convicted of rape and indecent assault. Suleman was convicted of two counts of indecent assault, while Iqbal was convicted of indecent assault but acquitted of rape.

"Anna" had previously spoken to the BBC in 2019 about being groomed. Her account included recognizing one of her abusers, Basharat Khaliq, in a news report about sexual exploitation. Khaliq was previously convicted in 2025 for rape and indecent assault and received a 21-year prison sentence.

In a separate trial, a jury heard that "Anna" underwent an Islamic wedding ceremony at age 15 with Raja Zulqurnean, who had groomed and abused her. Zulqurnean, 43, was initially sentenced to 18 years for rape and indecent assault. An appeal court later increased his sentence to 23 years.
