Four people were wounded in an early-morning shooting in Sacramento on Sunday, following a college football game held on Labor Day weekend. The Sacramento Police Department responded to the area of Cucamonga Avenue and Ramona Avenue in Granite Regional Park around 12:30 a.m., where they discovered three women with gunshot wounds.

Two of the women sustained injuries not considered life-threatening and were transported to a hospital. A third woman received treatment for minor injuries at the scene. Shortly after, officers responded to a traffic collision on Folsom Boulevard and State University Drive, a location near Sacramento State University, and found a man who had also been shot. His injuries were also not considered life-threatening.

Police received additional reports of gunfire near a parking structure during Saturday night's football game. It remains unclear if the Sunday morning shooting is connected to these earlier reports, which had prompted a shelter-in-place order at Sacramento State. As of Sunday, authorities had not established a link between the incidents and had not released any suspect information.
