Former WWE personality Dawn Marie, 55, has found a new avenue for income on OnlyFans, stating she is now earning more than she did during her professional wrestling career. Marie, who gained prominence in ECW in the late 1990s and later joined WWE in the 2000s, launched her OnlyFans account earlier this month. She also continues to work as a nurse, specializing in dementia care. Marie cited a persistent neck injury as a significant factor in her decision to explore new income streams. "You're getting older, your neck's not holding up. I'm in a lot of pain all of the time with my neck, so I thought that maybe I should prepare for my future," she told the Daily Mail. As a single mother with two children approaching college age, she viewed OnlyFans as a way to supplement her income.

The response to her OnlyFans page has been overwhelmingly positive, according to Marie. Hundreds of subscribers are paying $12.95 per month for access to her content. She noted that many of her followers are long-time wrestling fans who express nostalgia for her past career. "I'll hear a thousand times, 'I had the biggest crush on you when I was 12', or 'You were on my wall when I was 16.' You know? Those are the men and women joining my OnlyFans that I'm able to communicate with now," she said. Marie has clarified that her content on OnlyFans will not be sexually explicit, and she does not intend to cross that line. However, she indicated that subscribers can still expect to see "sexy content" from her. She drew a parallel to her past experience as a stripper in the 1980s, stating she is familiar with the adult entertainment industry. "Do I have some dimples in my ass? Absolutely. Do I look like I did back then? No, who the hell does! And I'm not claiming to. But I'm proud of who I am and I'm proud that I kept my body strong," she stated.

Despite some negative comments online, Marie remains unfazed, attributing it to increased interest. "If there's one thing I learned from Paul Heyman in ECW, it's that there's no such thing as bad press – I'll take lemons and make a smoothie out of it," she explained. She emphasized that her decision has the support of her children and those closest to her. Marie also asserted that she is not experiencing financial difficulties, having recently sold a home and managed her finances well. Her nursing career has also been financially rewarding, with her holding a management position overseeing dementia units.

Marie expressed a desire to continue nursing part-time, driven by passion rather than necessity. She also values the flexibility OnlyFans offers, allowing her more time with her family. Her WWE career included a notable rivalry with Torrie Wilson, which involved a storyline where Marie married Wilson's father. Marie departed WWE in 2005 and later settled a wrongful termination lawsuit with the company. Other former wrestlers, including Matt Riddle and Mandy Rose, have also joined OnlyFans, while some, like Torrie Wilson, have opted for platforms with more restrictive content policies.
