Former Teacher Finds Financial Success After Being Fired for Adult Content Side Hustle

Sheena Sittner, a 42-year-old mother of three from Ballwin, Missouri, was terminated from her substitute teaching position with Parkway Schools last month. Her employment was ended after colleagues reported her OnlyFans account to her employer, Kelly Education, an outside contractor that had assigned her to teach at her son's elementary school.

Sittner, who was not directly employed by the school district, had initially turned to the platform to supplement her income. She stated that she was earning only slightly above minimum wage as a substitute teacher, making approximately $125 on days she worked. Following her dismissal, Sittner has focused her efforts on adult content creation. She reported that her earnings have now reached about $20,000 per month, a substantial increase that she described as a "blessing in disguise."

She now spends her days filming content at home while her youngest child is at school. Sittner mentioned that her two older children, aged 22 and 18, are either at work or socializing. Her content sometimes features her husband. She emphasized that she maintains a work-life balance, dedicating her evenings and weekends to family.

Sittner stated that the financial stress of raising three children has lessened since she began working exclusively in adult content creation. She noted the high cost of family activities, such as visiting amusement parks, and expressed relief at no longer living paycheck to paycheck.

She identified two teachers as the individuals who reported her to Kelly Education. According to Sittner, one teacher discovered her page and subsequently informed another kindergarten teacher, who then reported her due to her continued availability for substitute jobs.

After news broke in town about Sittner, she said that her friends, including other mothers, have been supportive. Her family has also supported her, but at first, they didn't quite understand and had some questions

Sittner expressed that friends and other mothers have been supportive following the public disclosure of her side job. Her family also offered support, although they initially had questions.

She holds no animosity towards Kelly Education or Parkway Schools but expressed a desire for greater clarity regarding her volunteer status at her son's school after her termination. When informed by Kelly Education that she could no longer work in the district, Sittner inquired about continuing to volunteer at her child's school, but the company provided a vague response.

Parkway Schools confirmed to the Daily Mail that Sittner remains an active volunteer and has met the requirements for background checks and mandatory training for all volunteers. While no volunteer opportunities have yet arisen, she indicated she might seek involvement if such a chance becomes available.

Sittner is also pursuing a degree in criminology, stating her passion lies in criminal justice, even though returning to teaching is no longer an option following these events. She noted that while she enjoys working with children, criminal justice is her primary interest.
