Former NFL quarterback Chase Daniel believes he has discovered an optimal time to visit Disneyland with significantly reduced crowds and short wait times. Daniel, who played 14 seasons in the league, primarily with the New Orleans Saints, shared his observation on social media.

According to Daniel, the Monday following Fourth of July weekend provides a unique window of opportunity. He posted on X, "I think I accidentally cracked the Disneyland code…Monday after the 4th of July = no crowds." He further elaborated that this timing allowed him to celebrate a child's birthday and a wedding anniversary with wait times measured in minutes.

Disneyland recently hosted events in observance of America's 250th anniversary over the Fourth of July weekend, including special flag retreat ceremonies honoring veterans, themed decor, and a fireworks spectacular. The park also introduced a limited-time $59 "Evening Ticket" offer, which allowed guests access to Disneyland Park from 7 p.m. to close or Disney California Adventure from 5 p.m. to close. This offer, valid from July 12 to August 5, quickly sold out.

Daniel also shared his top four ride recommendations at Disneyland: Space Mountain, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Indiana Jones, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

For those planning future visits in 2027, Daniel's theory suggests testing his crowd-avoidance strategy by visiting the Monday after the Fourth of July holiday.
