Former model Cleo Glyde told The Daily Beast Podcast that Jeffrey Epstein dressed her and a close friend in nurse-like outfits and then brought them to meet Donald Trump, an encounter she now describes as "mortifying." Glyde said the meeting took place in the 1980s or 1990s when she ran in the same social circles as Epstein.

Glyde recalled that Epstein had her wear a white wrapover dress and suggested that she and her friend visit Trump wearing the outfits. "I had this white wrapover dress and [Epstein] said, 'you look just like a nurse in that...why don't we both go over to Donald's and you'll both look like nurses,'" she said. At the time, she said she viewed the suggestion as "a bit of fun," but she said she currently regards the episode as humiliating.

Glyde said the small group left Epstein's apartment on East 71st Street and walked a little over 20 blocks to Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan. She described Trump's demeanor during the meeting as friendly and unthreatening, saying he "smiled and laughed" and offered her a drink. "There wasn't anything seedy or sexual or weird apart from the aspect of us being trophies on display," she said, adding that Trump was "gracious."

Glyde also used colorful language to describe Trump, calling him "a Macy's Day Parade float of a man." She did not allege any sexual misconduct by Trump during the encounter.

The account was recounted to The Daily Beast Podcast and summarized in subsequent reporting. Epstein, a financier who later became the subject of criminal investigations and civil allegations related to sex trafficking and sexual abuse, cultivated relationships with numerous high-profile figures over decades. Glyde said she was part of the social milieu that intersected with Epstein's circle in the late 20th century.

Glyde's recollection adds to a series of personal accounts that have highlighted Epstein's behavior and the social context in which he operated, though the specific meeting she described does not include allegations of wrongdoing by Trump. The podcast appearance represents one of several instances in which people who associated with Epstein in that period have publicly described their interactions with him and with others in his orbit.

A request for comment from representatives of Trump or Epstein's estate was not included in the reporting of Glyde's remarks for the podcast. The former model's narrative focuses on the dynamics of that particular moment and her changed perception of it over time, from something she once considered playful to one she now regards as demeaning.
