A group of schoolchildren performed live on stage for the American rock band Foo Fighters ahead of their recent show at Liverpool's Anfield stadium. Footage of the performance by The Bell Tower Beats, a band from Anfield Road Primary School, was shared widely on social media platforms.

The band members said they practiced extensively for their stadium debut and were thrilled to play alongside the well-known musicians. "It was so fun performing for Foo Fighters. I've never performed in front of anyone before," Sean, a young band member, told BBC North West Tonight. The children expressed admiration for the band's stage presence, with Alyssa noting, "I really like how energetic they are and how much they have when they are on stage performing."

Foo Fighters have since shared the event with their millions of followers on Instagram and YouTube. The band kicked off their European tour with two nights in Liverpool last week, with the school band performing before the first show on Thursday.

The Bell Tower Beats, from Anfield Road Primary School, performed the Foo Fighters' hit single "Times Like These" for the American rockers. The young musicians wore dark grey t-shirts that read 'Foo Fighters Rock 'n' Roll'.
