Florida Woman Arrested for Allegedly Drugging Man, Stealing $100K Rolex

A Florida woman has been arrested on charges of second-degree grand theft after allegedly meeting a man at a South Florida club, going home with him, drugging him, and stealing his nearly $100,000 Rolex watch. Lynda Mae Crouse, 32, is accused of employing a similar tactic at least four other times in Miami-Dade County.

The incident for which Crouse is currently charged occurred on April 12, beginning at the Carousel Club in Hallandale Beach. She reportedly struck up a conversation with the man around midnight, and they later exchanged Instagram accounts. The man later sent an Uber to Crouse's home to bring her to his residence.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Crouse and the man consumed several alcoholic beverages in his living room. While the man went to his bedroom, he began to feel unwell, describing the sensation as feeling "funny" and "extremely tired." He reported hearing a distinctive "clapping sound" while Crouse was alone in the living room.

Upon his return, the man noted Crouse was acting differently and abruptly stated she was leaving. Shortly after her departure, he fell asleep. He awoke several hours later still feeling disoriented and discovered his gold 40 mm diamond-bedazzled Rolex Presidential watch was missing from its box.

The man provided police with an appraisal valuing the stolen watch at $98,400 and identified Crouse in a photo lineup. The affidavit also states that in another case investigated by City of Miami police, Crouse was accused of drugging a victim with zolpidem, a prescription sleep aid. Toxicology tests in that instance confirmed the presence of the drug.

Crouse was arrested by Seminole police on Friday, September 11, 2026, and taken to Broward County Jail. She was charged with second-degree grand theft, a felony, and released the following day after posting a $2,500 bond.
