Owner and chef Maurad Ali stated that the idea was conceived to attract new business, estimating that approximately 20 customers attended the August event. Tickets for the experience are priced at $250 for men, $150 for women, and $300 for couples.
Ali emphasized that the experience is designed to be classy and elegant, with his staff maintaining professionalism. A hostess, Tashaeba Hart, is present to ensure guests feel comfortable. Hart, who is typically nude during these events, explained her role is to set the mood for the evening.
The legality of the event is confirmed by a spokesperson for the city of Hollywood. According to Joann Hussey, the operation is permissible because the staff members working the event remain clothed, thus adhering to local regulations. The steakhouse explicitly prohibits any inappropriate physical contact, stating there is no "touchy-feely stuff" allowed.
