Florida Mother and Son Charged with Incest After Domestic Dispute Uncovers Love Triangle
Polk County deputies investigating a domestic violence call between a mother and son discovered an alleged incestuous relationship, leading to their arrest.
Deputies in Polk County, Florida, investigating a domestic dispute between a mother and her son uncovered an alleged incestuous relationship, according to Sheriff Grady Judd. The incident began when law enforcement was called to the Clemens' residence regarding allegations that Shane Clemens, 22, had battered his mother, Christina Clemens, 46. During the investigation, Shane Clemens informed deputies that he and his mother had been engaged in a sexual relationship since he was 18. Sheriff Judd stated that Christina Clemens confirmed the relationship, admitting to having had sex with her son approximately 100 times. Christina Clemens' husband, who was unaware of the affair, told investigators that he and his wife were happily married and living together. However, he noted that his wife and son would sometimes go into the master bedroom and lock the door, which had raised his suspicions. Both Christina and Shane Clemens have been charged with incest. Christina Clemens also faces a charge of adultery, which Sheriff Judd noted is still on the books in Florida. "What else can you say? That's nasty. That's nasty, and it's illegal," Sheriff Judd said in a social media post. "They got charged with incest. She got charged with adultery. It's still on the books, you know?"
