Florida Mom Accused of Bestiality Claims She Was Framed by Ex-Husband
Friends have launched a fundraiser for the mother of two, alleging her estranged husband framed her.
A Florida mother accused of having sexual contact with her dog has claimed she was framed by her estranged husband, her friends say. Malia Nummerdor, 38, was arrested after her husband, Erik Nummerdor, alleged he had video and photographic evidence of the acts.
Friends of Nummerdor have started an online fundraiser, stating that her and her sons' lives have been turned "upside down" by the allegations, which she maintains are untrue. According to the fundraiser, the family has been displaced from their home, and Nummerdor is facing significant legal costs. The description emphasizes that the fundraiser is not meant to determine the facts of the case but to help a mother and her children navigate a difficult period and secure legal representation.
Erik Nummerdor told authorities he installed security cameras in the home to identify who was stealing money from a coin jar. While reviewing footage from a bedroom camera, he discovered video that he claimed showed Malia Nummerdor engaging in sex acts with the family dog, identified as Ranger. The husband provided investigators with the recording and access to a laptop containing the footage, which police stated corroborated his account.
During an interview with police on September 15, Malia Nummerdor appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. She denied the sexual conduct allegations, claiming she was merely lying with and petting her elderly dog near its bed. When pressed for a clearer explanation of her physical position and the dog's placement, police reported that she was unable to provide a coherent or consistent response. She also noted the presence of a second dog in the room.
Nummerdor was charged with sexual contact with an animal and booked at the Charlotte County Jail. She has since been released. The fundraiser, launched on Monday, had received minimal donations as of its first day. Malia Nummerdor's social media profiles show photos of her with Erik Nummerdor, whom she married in 2023, and her two sons.
