Miramar, Florida – Social media influencer Brianna Johnson, 21, was killed in a drive-by shooting that critically injured two other passengers early Sunday morning, according to the Miramar Police Department.
Johnson, who posted content on lifestyle and beauty and amassed nearly 500,000 followers across TikTok and Instagram under the handles dreamdoll_brii and _itgirlbri, was traveling in a lime green Lamborghini Urus. Police stated that a white sedan pulled alongside the vehicle and opened fire around 5:30 a.m., shortly after the Fourth of July holiday.
Surveillance video reportedly shows the white sedan following the Lamborghini before gunfire erupted. The Lamborghini then crashed into a house as the sedan fled the scene. Authorities were alerted by multiple ShotSpotter notifications.
Miramar Police Chief Delrish Moss described the shooting as rapid-fire. Images circulating on social media appear to show the Lamborghini sustained significant damage from the gunfire.
Investigators believe the victims' vehicle was targeted and followed. According to reports, the three individuals had attended a party at a nearby home and reportedly stopped at a gas station where a dispute occurred prior to the shooting.
Johnson was pronounced dead due to her injuries. The two other occupants of the SUV were transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Their identities have not been released.
The Miramar Police Department is actively investigating the homicide.
